The Houston Metropolitan Transit Authority (Metro) invited Learning Designs, Inc. to be a partner in their 2007 training initiative for nearly 1100 salaried employees. There had been limited training opportunities for Metro staff up to this point, and they had significant and diverse needs.

LDI worked with Metro to build a schedule of courses to meet their needs and align with their overall training strategy. Since February of this year, LDI has taught nine classes for Metro with more scheduled throughout the year.
Classes currently offered include:
- Workplace Violence
- Working with Diversity
- Basics of Business Writing
- Train the Trainer
- Performance Appraisals
- Interviewing Skills

- A 39-point difference between pre and post-assessment scores in Working with Diversity
- A 27-point difference between pre and post-assessment scores in Basics of Business Writing
- A 23-point difference between pre and post-assessment scores in Presentation Skills
