Mary Carter
President
Mary Carter is the President and founder of Learning Designs, Inc. With over 25 years of combined experience in education and business, she has developed a number of award-winning training initiatives for both private and public sector organizations. Mary's specific skills and interests include system analysis and design, human performance models, and adult learning strategies. She leads LDI's instructional design team and has worked with customers who represent many different functions in a wide variety of organizations. Special highlights of her experience include the development of three national school-to-work programs featured in Forbes Magazine and the creation of a competency-based employee development system for workforce professionals.

John Carter
Director of Business Development
John Carter is responsible for Business Development activities at LDI and also serves as legal counsel. His unique combination of business and legal skills result in innovative marketing strategies and creative business alliances. John has been with LDI for 15 years and is LDI's primary liaison with community groups such as Automation Alley. He also provides oversight of all LDI business contracts and agreements. Prior to joining LDI, John worked in commercial litigation and employment law. He is a member of the Michigan Bar Association.

Julie Gieraltowski
Operations Manager
Julie Gieraltowski is the Operations Manager at Learning Designs, Inc. She is responsible for general oversight of all LDI projects and allocation of LDI staff resources. Julie also uses her business and marketing skills to support business development activities and write LDI proposals. She is a strong asset to the company in the planning and implementation stages of any project, and she provides valuable assistance to LDI project managers. Julie currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Detroit Area Chapter of ASTD and is responsible for local ASTD marketing activities.
